Wedding planning should be fun and exciting, but can also be overwhelming, time consuming and stressful. Whether you are just starting the wedding planning process or are getting married soon, helpful tools can make a world of a difference and make the experience more enjoyable. We put together a list of five wedding planning tools and websites that will be helpful throughout the process.
So, all of your bridesmaids live in different places in the US or around the world and you are stressing about how to get everyone together to pick dresses. Skip the stress and shop on Weddington Way! You can create a virtual showroom of dresses you like and the bridesmaids can comment and share the selections. I personally used Weddington Way for a wedding I was in last year and it was the easiest process, the quality of the dress was great and a good value. You can usually find coupon codes to save a little extra money. The only disclaimer is to be cognizant of the size selections. They only have a certain quantity available for each size.

The Black Tux
All of the groomsmen live in different places around the world and you are stressing about how to get everyone together, sound familiar? The Black Tux has tons of suit and tux options that are super dapper. When doing a wedding group rental, you will be assigned a concierge person at The Black Tux to help get all of the groomsmen’s sizes and to make sure they all order on time. After the wedding is over, simply pack up the rental, use the provided return shipping label and packing tape and drop it off at a local FedEx store.

You are at the point during the planning process to send out save the dates and you decide to address them yourself. The problem… it’s a real struggle to write in a straight line. The Lettermate is a lifesaver and will be your best friend. It’s a small tool that can be used several different ways to creatively address envelopes. There are two versions to pick from depending on the style you prefer.
AllSeated is an awesome tool I use personally for floor plans, but it is also helpful to couples planning their seating arrangements (and it helps out the planner a ton!!). They have tons of venues already loaded to their software, but if they don’t have yours, they will create a 3-D rendering, for FREE! You can import your Excel spreadsheet of guest names into AllSeated and begin placing people at tables. The best part, once you have everyone placed at tables, you can export the list and provide it to your planner. He or she will LOVE you!
Out of the list of wedding planning tools, this one might be my favorite. Once the wedding and honeymoon are over, reality quickly sets in that you should probably start the thank you cards… pretty much the last thing you want to do. I got you covered, it’s called Postable and it’s great. How it works – pick a card, write a message (which they use handwriting fonts, boom!) and they mail it. 150 thank you cards done in a matter of minutes and life goes back to normal.
These are only five of the incredibly helpful sites, tools and apps that are out there to make the wedding planning process easier. Check out the wedding planning tools listed above and hopefully they can help you with your big day.
