What an honor it was to work with these two! From the time we met them, we got an instant sense of their love for one another, along with the pure joy they share when they are together. They are both incredibly caring for those around them and we definitely had Coleen & Kris withdrawal after the wedding!
Coleen and Kris’s Renaissance Cincinnati wedding was absolutely gorgeous! The girls kicked off the day by getting ready at Coleen’s house and Kris and his best man got ready at The Renaissance. Before Coleen headed to the first look, she made a stop to see her grandma at her nursing home. It was an incredibly sweet moment. Her grandma was so excited to see her!
The first look and ceremony took place at Alms Park. Ahh, it was stunning! What a romantic Cincinnati venue. Creatively Captured got some amazing first look shots.
Coleen had so many dreamy details that we just LOVED! Fitz the Occasion did an amazing job draping the Alms Park pergola and Surcee Florals created stunning flower balls and tie back arrangements to create the most perfect ceremony backdrop. When guests arrived to the ceremony, they were greeted with passed champagne (always one of our favorites) and a live guitarist under the pavilion. You could feel the sense of excitement by all of the guests.
As the ceremony time approached, guests headed down to the pergola for an intimate ceremony. One of our favorite moments was when Kris came to meet Coleen to escort her down the aisle. It was so sweet! They also incorporated their girls in the unity ceremony, bringing both of their families together.
After the ceremony was over, guests headed to the Renaissance for cocktail hour and the reception. Guests enjoyed a live saxophone player during cocktail hour before they headed into Burnham Hall for the reception. Once toasts ended, Coleen and Kris snuck out for a surprise outfit change before the first dance. They returned for a grand re-entrance in their “party” outfits. Kris rocked a fabulous maroon tux and Coleen wore a breathtaking beaded gown. Once the first dance was over, Soul Pocket got the party started.
Coleen & Kris’s Renaissance Cincinnati wedding was filled with dreamy details, incredible music and love for one another. May you two enjoy all that life brings, amazing boating weather and many adventures together! Thank you for letting us be a part of your day!
